Malena Lowe, founder of Fiesta Street Markets and 2022’s Entrepreneur of the Year, is a passionate community advocate and a visionary entrepreneur. Raised in Los Angeles and schooled in Mexico, her multicultural background fuels a unique approach to business. She first made waves in Chula Vista, launching the successful “Art Walk” and “Vintage Nights” markets before creating Fiesta Street Markets. Malena had spearheaded Otay Con, a record-breaking collectibles convention that drew over 5000 attendees. Known for her personable approach and close relationship with vendors, Malena’s contributions to Chula Vista earned her recognition from Mayor John McCann. With plans to continue expanding and fostering local talent, Malena embodies the spirit of modern entrepreneurship.
